Aligarh to be renamed as Harigarh? Aligarh Zila panchayat passes new proposal to rename city

The Zila Panchayat Parishad of Aligarh has passed a resolution seeking to rename Aligarh as Harigarh. The proposal has now been sent to the Uttar Pradesh government, which will take the final decision.
